Making cure / cause blindness subject to dispel magic could cause some potential problems - for instance, a blind person who is cured from blindness will become blind again if hit with a dispel magic.Ĭure / cause blindness has a permanent duration, and in the PH, Chapter 7: Magic, in Spell descriptions, we find: Many folk treat that as non-magical blindness pretty soon after casting which would limit the ability of Dispel Magic to help. I honestly don't know if its RAW but its duration is instant, like a Mending spell. It may be worth another gander at Cause Blindness. And for the blindness, either cure blindness or dispel magic (since it's a magical effect). Seeing as how dispel evil only SENDS home evil critters that's been summoned, or conjured, now i can't see how it would then detect evil mages magics.īut i forgot, YOU allow it to dispel Evil magics for one of your HR's. I wouldn't think anything of neutral alignment would ping from either detect evil or detect good, kind of in the name no? So then would a neutral priest who put up a glyp have it detected by det evil or good? OR only from those who are evils? OR do all baddies magics ping?
